Family sessions, especially large groups (think 3 or more generations), are another one of my favorites. Growing up in my home, family was important but it was also scattered. I had 7 family members in my hometown of Humble with 7 more in the Lufkin/Nacogdoches area and 6 more in the Kirbyville area. I think this longing for familial relationships resonates in my artwork today. It reflects in how much closer I am to all of my family now and how many family portraits you see in my home. No matter how many or how young the children are, how many pets they want to add, or how big of a challenge the desired location may be: I truly enjoy working with families of any size to make sure they have those treasured heirlooms to keep forever.
